During a sudden restaurant explosion, Miss Quinn smells gas, alerts staff and helps evacuate patrons; when a child remains inside she rushes in and pulls him out. Eason publicly announces she’s his stepsister and invites her into the Shane family; Grandma calls her the family lifesaver. At a later debrief, Mr. Shane asks how she knew the restaurant hadn’t been inspected for years; Miss Quinn says she’d seen news about old-building fires and smelled gas, but he presses why only she noticed. She snaps, "Are you interrogating me?" leaving his suspicions unresolved.
