She Who Outplayed Them All - Episode 8

During a public announcement, the head of the Young family humiliates Jeffrey and Adana and declares Trista Saul unwelcome in his house. He calls Jeffrey a "bastard," boasts he rescued the family business after their father's death, and claims all of Jeffrey's projects and money came from him. When Adana resists, he threatens to expel anyone who supports Trista and says her dream of marrying into wealth is shattered. The confrontation forces a public apology. The episode ends with the patriarch asking, "Is this apology good enough for you?" leaving her acceptance unresolved.
