The Lantern Keeps Score - Episode 3

Ruby still hides a genie inside a lantern after the spirit warns her to keep its existence secret and says she has two wishes left. At breakfast her parents notice her birthmark is gone and she looks transformed. Confronted, Ruby admits she used a wish from a magic lantern to become beautiful. Her father and mother refuse to accept the explanation and demand proof, shouting, "Take out the magic lantern and let us see it!" The episode ends with Ruby caught between protecting the genie's secret and exposing the lantern to her family.
