At a palace audience, someone refuses to kneel to His Majesty and is accused of impersonating the Crown Prince—officials insist the real prince is in the Hall of Virtue. Charged with wearing imperial robes and plotting rebellion, the accused face clan-wide execution. Guards seize them as a crying mother pleads and the ruler blames soldiers for killing the empress. Prisoners are hauled to jail. When officials say, "If they will not make wishes, then force them to do so," the captive replies, "I am about to be free," leaving their fate unresolved.
