On the tarmac, chief purser Celeste halts departure after a passenger carrying a donor heart is left behind. Someone accuses Ethan of wanting to kill them to be with Clara, and Celeste demands cockpit access to contact the tower. Ethan refuses to open the door, says he must use the backup code, and warns unauthorized entry will get Mr. Harrington in trouble. Crew report the next flight is in three hours, so the heart won’t arrive in time for surgery. Celeste radios Flight 3101 to request holding position; the tower’s reply cuts off, leaving the outcome unresolved.
