Frank is mocked for his calloused hands and fed up with menial tasks. At a briefing they present Bernice Ruth, a venue owner suspected of trafficking but short on evidence. Leaders assign Frank as a secret mole to win her trust and gather proof. A superior offers top credit and to clear his parents' names, but Frank rejects empty promises and warns, 'If I can't get close... don't blame me.' Urged by colleagues who trust his charm, he agrees: 'I will handle it.' The episode ends with Frank stepping into the undercover job, the case—and his parents' vindication—left unresolved.
