After a briefing, an undercover agent is told the only way to reach powerful figure Bernice is through her driver-enforcer Hank Kade and her right-hand, Freda Paul, who runs five clubs including SpaVille. Her superior warns Freda is protected by influential lovers and advises starting with Hank, but the agent insists she'll handle it. The chief roughs up and then releases a suspect, saying the lesson is over. Haunted by her parents' fatal car crash and a year in protective custody, she accepts the risky assignment to penetrate Bernice’s circle — and heads to SpaVille to target Hank first.
