Veil of Treachery, Crown of Power - Episode 8

At a public hearing, Lillian, a married woman, is accused of adultery and framing her husband. John claims an affair; Lillian denies contact. Spectators say she's framed, but Jerome presents concrete evidence, silences doubts, and pressures Mr. Larson. Despite pleas and her husband's demand for divorce, Mr. Larson orders guards to take Lillian to Destree River to be drowned. Meanwhile Mr. McNeil arrives with an escort searching for Her Highness; they must find and seat her today before Her Majesty's passing is exposed. Lillian is led away as the succession race begins.
