Veil of Treachery, Crown of Power - エピソード 9

Lillian is dragged before a crowd and accused as onlookers denounce her mistreatment. Matt, the top scholar backed by the Russells, demands she plead guilty and leave Jaxon; in return he promises to plead for Jerome. Jerome rushes to defend her, is seized by guards and soundly beaten. Under pressure Lillian relents and testifies, "I plead guilty... I, Lillian Devine, had an affair." A witness claims proof of her royal birth, and then a man is exposed as an eunuch, shocking the court. The episode ends with Lillian's confession and Jerome's survival in doubt.
