Raising a Queen at the End of the World - Episode 25

After cutting down two evolved zombies you recover two mostly red cores and rush home to consume them to force evolution. You deduce redder cores mean stronger zombies, position your puppets in the stairwell, then swallow both cores on the third floor. Power surges: wounds seal, dark veins fade, muscles tighten, but the double dose smashes your mind and you pass out. Ivy on the ninth floor hears the roars stop and fears you became a shambler. You wake stronger, skin human again and confident, but the earlier massive hit to your mind leaves control unresolved.
