A Love Stronger Than Slander - Episódio 8

Ms. Presland begs Mrs. Blake for the card to pay for Bree’s surgery, promising to leave and keep the child’s paternity from Don. Mrs. Blake conditions the money on public humiliation: kneel, slap herself, and call herself a "sl*t" who got pregnant before marriage. Desperate, Ms. Presland hesitates but agrees for Bree’s sake, distracts the child with a candy game, then delivers the forced confession—"I'm a sl*t." The episode ends with her humiliation completed and the threat that Don learning the truth could still destroy the proposed marriage and family partnership unresolved.
