At school Vivian Lawson faces classmates demanding proof of her family’s wealth; they suggest bringing the Lawson couple or collaborating with Mr. Brooks so payments happen in person and accuse Julia Miller of faking status. Vivian decides to call her parents and even plans an excuse to send Julia away, expecting an ally to agree. The situation suddenly flips when her mother answers, saying she’s already transferred a lot and won’t send another cent. With her planned show of power collapsing and Julia still present, Vivian is left exposed and must immediately choose how to respond.
