Where Old Dreams Return - Episode 3

Shelly, claiming she was drugged, appears at the riverbank amid recent flooding and collapses before Ms. Burke and a crowd demanding repayment. She pleads to be taken in, offers to serve as Ms. Burke's bodyguard and begs, "Give me a reason." Creditors warn Ms. Burke not to break the rules and insist on the debtor. Ms. Burke declares, "I'm taking her with me today," prompting another to answer, "I want her," and to call Shelly a lunatic. The group stalls and prepares to leave, leaving Shelly's fate and Ms. Burke's rule-breaking decision unresolved.
