Where Old Dreams Return - Episode 39

A woman returns late to her father's house with a bruised face and a servant notices. She asks for her mother's ashes, but her father greets her angrily, insults her as ungrateful and demands money. He names a $1 million price, accuses her of leaning on a rich partner, and orders her to come up with the funds. She insists she can't; he replies he'll scatter the ashes if she fails. The episode ends with him declaring he is capable of doing it, leaving her desperate and the ashes immediately at risk.
