Where Old Dreams Return - Episode 40

Collectors pound the door demanding repayment, accusing the protagonist's father of selling his child to a casino and even demanding a kidney. The protagonist protests, "He's my dad," while accusers call the father a jinx and urge abandonment. Captain Nash intervenes, offers the protagonist an escape from the father's violence but warns pity will only prolong suffering.
